The school is built on an open concept format with a main east-west corridor running the length of the building. Classrooms are concentrated on the south side of the hall with the gym, trades, culinary arts, and creativity rooms on the north. Open beam construction with a liberal amount of skylights gives the building a pleasant vertical volume. The outer perimeter walls and roof follow ellipsoidal and or gentle sweeps that are meant ot be reminiscent of the form and function of an igloo.
The gymnasium is a multi purpose facility with approximately 464 square metres (5000 square feet) of floor space, a retractable floor divider curtain and a movable solid wall that opens the gym to the stage area.
